Frequently asked questions
Who can use ControlPlay?
Streamers connect with their Twitch account; Bits functionality requires Twitch Affiliate or Partner status. Viewers just need a Twitch account.
What does it cost?
Starting is free and there is no subscription. Optional USB hardware for real game control can be purchased separately.
Who handles Bits and payouts?
Everything runs through Twitch: Bits work in the extension just like in chat, under Twitch’s official programs. ControlPlay itself never handles payouts.
Which games are supported?

Is my data safe?
ControlPlay is developed in Germany and follows the GDPR. You manage your data and consents in your account at any time.
